My first children's picture book 'Somebody Swallowed Stanley', has been published in over 10 different languages and even more countries. It was read by actor Tom Hardy on Cbeebies Bedtime Stories and is available to purchase in all good book retailers. Stanley's adventures have been used to help children from all over the world to understand the environmental threats posed by plastic pollution.
"Plastic bags don't belong in the sea!"
Everybody has a taste for Stanley, but he is no ordinary jellyfish.
Most jellyfish have dangly-gangly tentacles, but Stanley has two handles.
Other jellyfish have a magical glow, but Stanley has stripes.

'A powerful message about plastic pollution from environmental expert Sarah Roberts'.

The second book in the series, 'Somebody Crunched Colin' was illustrated by Hannah Jayne Peck and published in 2022. The book was partnered with Keep Britain Tidy's Great Big School Clean and read by me in Parliament. It was selected by Waterstones as one of the best books of 2022 in the 'Babies and Toddler' category.

Colin is no ordinary flower. Colin smells appealing - just like the other flowers around him. The only trouble is, he crackles and crunches and flutters in the wind. He can't seem to find where he belongs, but he smells so delicious that all the animals want to eat him... But Colin is a crisp packet!

All Wilson wants is a rest! For millions of years, Wilson has slept warm and toasty deep underground, along with billions of other carbon atoms. But when Wilson is suddenly woken, he is swept away on a startling adventure from the ocean to the sky and on. Bumping and jostling in the sky is TOO MUCH. Wilson just wants to rest! A beautifully illustrated picture book with a powerful message about the carbon cycle from environmental expert Sarah Roberts.
I am currently working on a new series of books with Scholastic UK for a slightly older age group. {Watch this space}
